🔮 Scene Sorcery 🔮
Krea.Ai’s new Scene Transfer allows users to transform photos by transferring a subject into different environments with consistent light and color. This free tool is a fun addition to your tool box for personal or professional creative work. Ideal for updating or creating completely new scenes, we are excited to see how it works! -
To use Krea.Ai's Scene Transfer, go to the Enhance section of the platform. The main workspace will appear with the upload sidebar on the left and settings sidebar on the right. You will see the options to Upscale or Scene Transfer (right sidebar). Upload your starting image, then click the "Activate" button on.
Place the image of the desired scene in the Scene Transfer dropbox, and write a description of it in the prompt box. You can increase or decrease the strength of the transfer with the slide bar, and decide if you want the background to be fully switched out. Lastly, click “Enhance✨” to generate your new scene!
For an example, we used this week’s newsletter header as the input image, and experimented with various background references and settings to see how the platform responded to different styles. Below, you can see the various outputs generated after transferring the image. Overall, this is a versatile tool that provides an easy way to transfer scenes while accurately applying lighting and effects to the subjects.

🌟 Style Spotlight 🌟
Rubber Hose Animation
Known by its character’s flexible tube-like limbs and iconic aesthetic, Rubber Hose animation first emerged in the 1920s and 1930s. This style allowed for exaggerated, fluid movements and was popularized by studios like Disney and Fleischer. Famous artists include Ub Iwerks, who worked on "Steamboat Willie," and Max Fleischer, creator of "Betty Boop" and "Popeye." Iconic cartoons such as "Felix the Cat" and "Bosko" also epitomize the definition of the style. Today, Rubber Hose animation influences modern animations and video games, celebrated for it’s whimsical and nostalgic appeal. Cuphead the video game and it’s recent Netflix counterpart, The Cuphead Show are excellent representations of Rubber Hose style animations that are still alive today. They faithfully recreate the fluidity and vintage aesthetic of 1930s cartoons with hand-drawn characters, whimsical expressions, and a meticulously crafted retro atmosphere. Cuphead perfectly blends nostalgia with modern entertainment.
